Why 304 Stainless Steel?

Most premium putters are precision-milled from 303 steel because it contains sulfur additives that make it faster and cheaper to machine. We engineer our heads exclusively from 304 Stainless Steel for a pure mechanical advantage:

Muted Acoustic Feedback: The sulfur impurities in 303 steel cause it to act like a tuning fork, amplifying a harsh, high-pitched "ting" at impact. 304 is a pure alloy with an unbroken, uniform grain structure that naturally dampens high-frequency vibrations, converting that ring into a deeply solid, muted click.

Razor-Sharp Industrial Geometry: The chemical inclusions in 303 can cause microscopic tearing along crisp edges during milling. 304 shears cleanly under precise CNC toolpaths, allowing us to achieve razor-sharp edge definitions and a completely uniform, matte finish without needing artificial coatings.
